Wireless-powered VOCs sensors fabricated by combining an energy-harvesting metamaterial and ionic thermoplastic polyurethane operational within microwave frequencies are reported in article number 2001240 Sung-Min Park, Do Hwan Kim, Hojin Lee, co-workers. By harvesting commercially accessible Wi-Fi energy, the sensor can be operated wirelessly, representing a novel method for designing real-time battery-free with reliable performance.
